Question
[edit]Is there any reason why Sega decided to change Shadow's costume in the Sega/Mega CD version of Eternal Champions, but all of the other characters remained the same?
Whilst I cannot source this, I would suggest it is due to Sega orinally wanting that design but it was too difficult on the basic Mega Drive/Genesis version and so when they had the enhanced power, much like the enhanced overkills, they added it. Could anyone source and verify that. Probably be in an old magazine or something, which may be online? Madslocodemente (talk) 00:08, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
No, this has definately no technical reasons; the clothes of the Mega CD-version are in no way complex to do, let alone that such things are not easier to accomplish on Mega CD.62.138.159.78 (talk) 10:38, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side is not a "version of Eternal Champions". It is actually a full sequel of the fist Eternal Champions game, and plot-wise it declares Shadow Yamoto as the victor of the first Eternal Champions tournament, hence the new outfit she portrays which bears the Eternal Champions logo. One of my very first video games ever. And I loved it. Sigh, to bad I don't have the game... I would have settled with the game guide, goods stories. This has to be made into a film. -G

Removal of Character Bios/Ending
[edit]Upon coming to this article I thought the character biographies and endings sounded familar. Sure enough, after playing the game, I saw that they were all copied verbatim from the game. As such, I'm removing both the sections are a copyright violation. --Mitaphane talk 19:20, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Innovations?
[edit]The article makes it sound like Eternal Champions introduced stage finishing moves. However, Mortal Kombat had the pit fatality which precedes this game
The methods are different though, so it is innovative in that regard. Madslocodemente (talk) 00:04, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Challenge from the Dark Side information.
[edit]Couldn't all the information on the Sega CD game be in the appropriate article. I don't know enough about the two games to seperate what is what. Madslocodemente (talk) 00:03, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:ECInGame.jpg
[edit]Image:ECInGame.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
